The WAPIS Add-in for Recorder 2002

The WAPIS add-in for Recorder enables the collection of information that supports the Wood-pasture and Parks Habitat Action Plan. The WAPIS add-in for Recorder provides facilities for collection and viewing information about Locations and their Features that are not available in the standard Recorder.

WAPIS Information in Recorder

Using the WAPIS add-in you can augment the information entered using Recorder 2000 to provide further details about a location and its component features.
Information that can be added to locations:

Information that can be added to features are grouped as follows:

  • Spatial data: Add specific spatial details to locate a feature within a location
  • Events: Create events for a feature and link them to management aims
  • Measurements: Provide measurements for a feature (e.g. Number of secondary stems)
  • Threats: Add a temporal component to threats to indicate if they are past, immediate or more long term
  • Damage: Enables you to link occurrences of damage to potential threats for a feature

 

Update Note: A new version of the add-in has been produced to account for the recent changes in the latest release of Recorder (as of 01/2004) - This affects XP users on new installs of Recorder. If you have downloaded the addin, get the latest version from the download page. Close Recorder and overwrite the wapis.ocx.
