WAPIS Add-in: Adding Feature Data

The WAPIS add-in enables you to supply a temporal component to threats of a feature. Adding a timing component to a potential threat. Details of potential threats to a feature can be added using the standard Recorder Feature Pot.Threat tab. A default list of Threat Types are not present when Recorder is installed (apart from two dummy entries Type1 and Type2). In the Recorder help file, threat types are given as a mix of 'causal' (e.g. accidental, deliberate) and temporal (e.g. past, current etc). WAPIS adds a new component to a threat 'Threat Timing'.
It is proposed that the standard Recorder 2000 'Threat Type' be used to record Causal and that threat timing be used to record a temporal attributes for a threat.
For more details see Standard Terms.

You can access details of the other feature tabs of the WAPIS screen by clicking in the image below.

Proposed terms for threats:

Threat Types: Natural, Deliberate, Accidental
Threat Timing: Past, Current, Immediate, Short Term, Long Term

The Threat Timing types are added by default when the WAPIS add-in is installed. The Threat Types need to be added by the user using the Term List screen in the usual way.
