WAPIS Add-in: Adding Location Facts

The WAPIS add-in for Recorder 2002 enables you to add facts to a location. Once a location has been entered in Recorder, additional information can be added using the WAPIS add-in.

Location facts are similar to 'Species Accounts' or 'Taxon Facts' and can be any form of media (text, pictures, etc.). The usual form is text and can accept HTML. Location facts enable longer descriptions about locations to be entered and act as a 'Location Account' in a similar fashion to the Species Accounts of Recorder. Use Location Facts to record historical and cultural, management and designation information. Facts can be linked to an internal source for a full reference to printed material.

The WAPIS screen for Location facts is shown below.
Location facts can be one of several types. Although Recorder 2000 only supports the text type in the interface. The list of types is one of the standard term lists added by the WAPIS add-in.
