Overview

There are a number of methods for locating data within WAPIS. You can search the online data in Recorder 2002 format, by Location and Taxa.

List locations grouped by their 'Designation Type'. This lists types such as Ancient Monuments, SSSIs, National Parks, etc

You can also search by county using a map of Great Britain.

The WAPIS interface to the NBN Index metadata system allows you to search metadata by taxa, administrative region, biotope and free text.
