Wood-pasture and Parkland Information System (WAPIS)

Help contents

Welcome to WAPIS.

Welcome to the the Wood-pasture and Parks Information System (WAPIS). This web site provides online access to a variety of data on Wood-pasture and Parks.

[ - More about the Background to the web site - ]

There are several components to the WAPIS system. You can use any of the links in the Contents box above to view elements of the WAPIS system.

The first component to be developed was the online metadata Index. This uses the NBN Index to present metadata collected using the MetaTagger data collection tool. Metadata were collected for a number of data sets and candidates were identified for recruitment to the WAPIS system. These data were entered to Recorder 2000 using a specially designed WAPiS add-in. The data once entered to Recorder 2000 are now available through an interactive web application so that they can be browsed and searched online. To start browsing the data choose 'Survey List' from the menu above.
